We cherish Japan's native plants. Introducing the projects that 5×Green is working on.
5×Green aims to "restore the seasons to the town" as a major goal. We focus on planting native species. However, currently, obtaining native species is not easy. The original flora of Japan has been overwhelmed by invasive plants and paved surfaces like asphalt, retreating from urban suburbs to more mountainous areas. We believe that "cultivating local seed producers" is an important task, even though it takes time. Our company collaborates with the people of satoyama who are considering forest creation and the utilization of rice fields, receiving supplies of plants.
